Watching my identity fall into the sink

In the words of the late Owen Hart: "Enough is enough and it's time for a change!"

The notion came to me around a week ago. I was dismissive at first, telling myself that the urge would pass and I'd be happy to have resisted the temptation. I mean, this is my identifying feature--what made Iris like me last year and what spawned the creation of a plentitude of staff ads in my section when I was sports ed. Day by day, though, I found myself no longer debating if I should do it, but when. Tonight while eating 'chos with Rossy and ChloƩ (and NOT watching the NBA's season-opening double header--more on that at Rap Traxx), it hit me: tonight I'm shaving my head. Not bald, mind you, just a close cut with the clippers. I had ChloƩ do a before and after, which of course is documented here.

During:

After:

Still looking like Nash?

Thoughts?

Will less hair help you with your novel?

If I'm a bad roomie, I'd make a G. I. Jane joke here, somewhere.

But you know, I think you look good with the change.

Also, should I add the link to Rap Traxx to the sidebar? I mean, are you going to Larocque that blog or are you actually going to post commentaries, regularly?

I'm posting regularly there, along with my brother and Vanessa Thomas (VT hasn't posted yet, but she did make the collage that's on the page). Just ran our season preview/predictions yesterday. They were long.

The blog, much like the Raptors this season, consists of 2/3 international flavour, as Danny's in Seoul and Vanessa's on her way to Ecuador.

....that's all I've got to say.
